Monopatia Resort Refund & Cancellation Policy Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which reservations at Monopatia Mountain Resort may be cancelled, modified or refunded.

By making a reservation through our website, booking engine, email, telephone or any official booking channel, you agree to the cancellation and refund terms applicable to your reservation.

1. Seasonal Periods

For the purposes of this policy, the following seasonal periods apply:

Peak Period                         1 September – 15 September and 20 December – 7 January

2. Cancellation Policy by Period

Low Period

For stays during the Low Period, cancellation is free of charge up to 5 days prior to arrival.

For cancellations made 4 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the total reservation cost will be charged.

Middle Period

For stays during the Middle Period, cancellation is free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival.

For cancellations made 6 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the total reservation cost will be charged.

High & Peak Period

For stays during the High Period or Peak Period, cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days prior to arrival.

For cancellations made 13 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the total reservation cost will be charged.

3. Same-Day Cancellation

In case of cancellation on the scheduled arrival date, 100% of the total reservation cost will be charged.

4. No-Show

If the guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and has not cancelled the reservation in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms, the reservation will be treated as a No-Show.

In case of No-Show, 100% of the total reservation cost will be charged.

5. Early Departure

In case of earlier departure after check-in, the guest will be charged 100% of the total reservation cost.

No refund is provided for unused nights or services due to early departure.

6. Refunds

Where a reservation is cancelled within the free cancellation period, any refundable amount paid in advance will be returned to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the bank, card issuer, payment provider or booking method.

Monopatia Mountain Resort is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers or third-party payment providers.

7. Non-Refundable Rates and Special Offers

Certain rates, offers or packages may be marked as non-refundable, prepaid or subject to special booking conditions.

In such cases, the specific cancellation and refund terms displayed at the time of booking or included in the reservation confirmation will apply.

If a specific offer or package has stricter cancellation terms than this general policy, the terms of that offer or package shall prevail.

8. Reservation Modifications

Requests to modify reservation dates, room categories, number of guests or other booking details are subject to availability and approval by Monopatia Mountain Resort.

A modification may result in a rate difference or additional charges.

If the new reservation dates fall under a different seasonal period, the cancellation terms of the new period may apply.

9. Third-Party Booking Platforms

If a reservation is made through a third-party platform, travel agency or online travel agency, cancellations, refunds and modifications must usually be handled through that same platform or agency.

The terms and conditions of the third-party platform may apply in addition to the policy of Monopatia Mountain Resort.

10. Force Majeure

Monopatia Mountain Resort is not responsible for cancellations, delays, inability to travel or inability to provide services caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, road closures, strikes, transport disruption, government restrictions, public health measures, power outages or other force majeure events.

In such cases, Monopatia Mountain Resort may offer a date change, credit or refund depending on the specific circumstances, availability and applicable law.
